Antique Dragon Signet Ring
Antique 18k signet with a dragon. Technically this type of dragon is a wyvern. Dragons in heraldry have been used since ancient times and are associated with sovereignty, royalty, and valiance. The symbol of Wales is a dragon for instance. The use of a Wyvern (two legs instead of 4, two wings, and a pointed tail) is less common. British origin, but there is no date letter, nor maker’s mark.
