Antique Burma Ruby Cabochon Pendant
This is an antique component which came to me already in its gold collet with silver button back. I added a bail and opened up the back. The ruby has not been weighed unmounted but is estimated to be over two carats and is Burma origin, unheated. I opened up the silver back to let more light in and so that there would be no restrictions on wear as with a closed back piece. The color of this cabochon is to die for.
Measures 12 x 10 mm, not including jump ring or bail.
